Vision Insurance

SEL’s vision insurance is purchased in conjunction with our health insurance plan and provides a yearly, routine eye exam and a yearly, hardware benefit.

Dental Insurance

We are proud to offer America’s largest, most experienced dental benefits carrier, Delta Dental. You will have access to a national network of dentists across the U.S. and Puerto Rico and will enjoy most preventative and diagnostic services paid at 100 percent!

Adoption Assistance Program

Deciding to adopt a child requires careful planning, many considerations, and significant financial resources. SEL is proud to offer the Adoption Assistance Program, which provides reimbursement for eligible adoption expenses.

 

Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

The Standard’s Group Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance products provide extra protection for employees and their families in the event of a covered accidental death or injury. You also have the option of purchasing additional life insurance for you and your family.

 

Long-Term Disability Insurance

Long-term disability insurance provides employees with income protection against disabilities resulting from a covered physical disease, injury, pregnancy, or mental disorder.

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)

Since SEL is a 100% employee-owned company, U.S. employees participate in a stock-ownership plan. Our ESOP involves employees in the long-term company perspective and allows them to share in the many rights, risks, responsibilities, and rewards as company owners. Although we do not share the level of contribution or the history of our stock value until you are here working with us, we can say it is great!

 

Flexible Spending Account

Through a voluntary program, employees can use pretax dollars to pay for health-related expenses and dependent care costs that are not paid by a medical, dental, or vision plan.

 

401K Retirement Savings Plan

Although SEL’s major retirement contribution is provided through its ESOP, the company also sponsors a 401K retirement plan to provide employees with additional flexibility in managing their retirement portfolio. Administered by SEL, the plan is an optional benefit. It allows you the opportunity to have your current 401K plan follow you to SEL! The choice is yours.

  • Education Assistance Contribution—We give all eligible, regular, full-time employees an extra $80 per month. You can use this money to expand or maintain your education, or put your monthly benefit aside and save for the course you’ve always wanted to take.
