Since SEL is an employee- and family-owned company, U.S. employees participate in a stock-ownership plan. Our ESOP involves employees in the long-term company perspective and allows them to share in the many rights, risks, responsibilities, and rewards as company owners. Although we do not share the level of contribution or the history of our stock value until you are here working with us, we say it is great!

401K Retirement Savings Plan

Although SEL’s major retirement contribution is provided through its ESOP, the company also sponsors a 401K retirement plan to provide employees with additional flexibility in managing their retirement portfolio. Administered by SEL, the plan is an optional benefit. It allows you the opportunity to have your current 401K plan follow you to SEL! The choice is yours.

  • Education Assistance Contribution—We give all eligible, regular full-time employees an extra $80 per month. You can use this money to expand or maintain your education, or put your monthly benefit aside and save for the course you’ve always wanted to take.

  • Lunch-and-Learn Opportunities—Consistent with our “never stop learning” culture, divisions across the company commonly host lunch-and-learn sessions for employees to meet new co-workers and learn something new about various topics. From health and wellness to technical breakout sessions, there is something for everyone.
  • On-Site Corporate Library—Whether you need a job resource, want to read your favorite magazine, or check out a novel for your next vacation, the SEL library provides all of this plus research services for all employees.
  • On-Site Computer Lab—We provide our employees with an on-site computer lab and access to a library of more than 500 computer skills classes! These self-paced, computer-based training courses can be taken from any computer with Internet access. You can advance your skills in the computer lab or in the comfort of your home.
