How long can I work as an intern?
SEL offers a very flexible internship work schedule. Internship lengths and required hours are based upon the student’s individual circumstances and the hiring manager’s needs.
How many interns are eventually converted to regular, full-time employees?
SEL’s internship program is very successful in converting interns into regular, full-time hires.
How much does an internship pay?
Internship salaries at SEL are hourly wages based upon several factors and are determined on an individual basis.

SEL internships provide students with the opportunity to meet a variety of mentors and professionals from a variety of fields and backgrounds.
What makes an internship different from a regular job?

Internships at SEL are different from regular, full-time positions on a variety of levels. Interns are considered regular, temporary employees and are given the opportunity to work part-time while attending school and full-time during the summers. Interns are given tasks with mentors and teams that will enhance their academic experience. Internships provide an opportunity for the company and the student to have a long-term interview with each other.

Will I actually get hands-on experience?
SEL’s internship program is founded on the idea that students will receive relevant experience in their academic field as well as work with teams to become contributors to SEL’s mission and goals. It is our goal to provide you with the opportunity to develop job-related skills and to provide you with an environment that encourages personal and professional growth.
