Description:
Phase
and ground distance relay, ground directional overcurrent relay,
synchronism check relay, reclosing relay, fault locator.
|
Application:
The SEL-221F Relay provides phase and ground distance protection and
uses ground directional overcurrent elements to detect high-resistance
ground faults. It includes single-shot reclosing with voltage and synchronism
checking to provide automatic line or bus restoration and system paralleling.
The SEL-221F Relay provides three zones of time-step protection with
separate timers for phase and ground faults in Zone 2 and a common timer
for both phase and ground faults in Zone 3. It also includes programmable
output contacts and a large setting range for the mho distance elements.
