Description:
Reclosing relay, synchronism checking relay, and voltage relay for multiple-shot reclosing of three-pole breakers.
Application:
Designed for three-pole, single-breaker, multi-shot reclosing schemes, the SEL-279 Relay is capable of unsupervised or voltage supervised high-speed reclosing and up to eight time-delayed reclosures. The operation of the SEL-279 Relay emulates rotating-cam reclosing relays. It accepts virtually any combination of voltage inputs, e.g., single- or three-phase and delta- or wye-connected. It provides any combination of live or dead, line or bus logic.
