ACSELERATOR QuickSet Designer SEL-5031 Software
features the ability to create custom views of settings,
called QuickSet Design Templates. You can lock settings to match your standards or lock
and hide settings that are not used. This makes installation
of a new device simple and helps ensure that new devices
are applied according to your organization’s standards.

Import and use QuickSet Design Templates with ACSELERATOR QuickSet SEL-5030
Software. Each device requires few user entries because
the standardized, unused, and application-specific settings
are hidden by the template.

for SEL products, and distribute them for streamlined product deployment, increased installation quality, and consistency.

Usage
Engineers who are responsible for standardized application
of relays and other devices each use one seat of QuickSet Designer to build QuickSet Design Templates. The QuickSet Designer also
has all of the capabilities of the ACSELERATOR QuickSet SEL-5030 to test
and validate the template. Then, personnel
deploying each device use the template in
their QuickSet to prepare the settings for each device. For
easier commissioning and testing, they use the HMI and
event report capabilities.
- Protect
a Line of Motors or a Line of Transformers
To install a new device, personnel enter only nameplate
data and the ID. QuickSet then calculates settings
from entered data, using locked protection, integration,
and I/O assignment settings predetermined by the QuickSet Design Templates.
- Protect
and Automate a Feeder Network
Simply enter ID and load data for each recloser. A QuickSet Design Template then calculates protection and reclosing settings,
using standard Automatic Network Reconfiguration and
integration settings.
- Apply
Distance Protection
Use QuickSet Designer to create a QuickSet Design Template that
applies standards to calculate distance and load encroachment
settings. Personnel then enter only the ID, line parameters,
and load size for each relay.
