"Three SEL-311C Relays were commissioned into operation aided by strong support from Schweitzer's high-quality engineering group. During acceptance testing, I found this relay to be a flexible, sensitive, and secure device, thus allowing the adaptation of settings and logic to suit almost any power system configuration without the loss of operating time.
We are pleased with our choice of this relay for the three-terminal line application with two weak infeeds. Since commissioning, O&R has experienced several operations on the line as well as on adjacent lines. All of the operations were per relay system design.
