EIA-232 to EIA-485 Interface—Connect a device that has an EIA-232 port to an EIA-485 network to communicate with DNP3 or Modbus.

Easy Application—Select operating modes (EIA-422, RTS, or SDC), key the transmitter on and off, and control the echo mode. The SEL-2886 receives 5 Vdc power from the host device EIA-232 port or from an external adapter via a jack.
