Equipment Validation—Verify that your equipment is working properly with the SEL-4388. The LCD shows addressing and communications parameters as well as the detected data rate. The LEDs display the current state of all Receive and Transmit Mirrored Bits.

Field Testing—The SEL-4388 is ideally suited for onsite relay testing. This portable, battery-powered tester goes everywhere. Power is supplied by two AAA batteries or the external 4–18 Vdc power jack.

Commissioning—Save valuable time using the SEL-4388 for commissioning. Streamline the setup process, and verify that the Mirrored Bits implementation and communications circuits are working properly.
